I would lead the charge for the creation of a Texas-First scorecard that evaluates every major publicly supported data-center project against a common set of transparent measures. In order of priority, community impact/public cost, resource impact/capacity, and economic return would be measured. While economic gain for Texas is desired, money (and especially greed) cannot be the only deciding factor.
Resolve Without Recklessness. Diplomacy First. Readiness Always. America must rebuild its reputation as a nation whose strength is matched by its judgment, whose commitments can be trusted, and whose power serves a clear purpose. Our allies must know that our word means something. Our adversaries must understand that our commitments are serious. And the world must see a United States that can defend its interests without abandoning its principles.
